PLOTBOX APPROACH $5m INVESTMENT TO TRANSFORM THE GLOBAL SECTOR THAT STOOD STILL
PlotBox are pleased to announce a new milestone in VC investment that will catapult the business in its mission to support more cemeteries and families globally.
PlotBox’s most recent round, raised over $2.6m bringing the total investment in the business to almost $5m. The lead investor of the round is Par Equity LLP who lead a group of VC’s from both the US and UK including: Techstart NI, Ironbridge and Clarendon.
Key to PlotBox’s early stage growth and success were seed round investor 7 Percent Ventures who continue active involvement with the development of the business.
New joiners to the Board who complement an already diverse and strong group are: Graeme Patterson from Par Equity, Jamie Andrews from Techstart and David Alexander from Ironbridge Capital.
PlotBox is a transformational software application for the global death care profession. Sean and Leona McAllister are Co-Founders and CEO and CCO respectively who in 2019 will oversee the laying of foundations for scale with further investment in head count and diversity of skill set to help accelerate growth.
There are currently 44 employees, which is anticipated to grow to over 70 positions in the year ahead with new roles created in Talent and Culture, Customer Support, Product Development and with new roles and resources to accelerate the Sales and Marketing program.
